Upstate High Students Win Regional STEM Competition

A team of juniors from GREEN Upstate High School took first place in the South Carolina Regional STEM Challenge.

Four juniors from GREEN Upstate High School earned first place in the South Carolina Regional STEM Challenge in October, competing against teams from across the state. The students designed a small-scale solar water-heating prototype, presented their engineering process, and answered judges' questions on cost, sustainability, and community impact. The win qualifies the team for the state finals in the spring.
